Hello and welcome! I am so happy to see you here. Maybe you are visiting this page out of curiosity, maybe you are here already ready to claim space for yourself. No matter what brings you here, I truly relish in the opportunity to be in community together.

Let me tell you about this program: Lighting the Abyss. LTA is a 4 month learning program that is centered on deep and nourishing care for and empowerment of the self. This is a container that will teach you tarot divination and begins that process from a perspective that recognizes that ALL PEOPLE have the ability to communicate with "other" energies and beings. This time of study and learning is approached from a very wide perspective. Lighting the Abyss knows that very often each individual will be able to access that ability in completely different ways, and it is our aim to facilitate that. LTA believes that it is an innate and fundamental RIGHT of every single person to be able to find safety in their bodies/minds/hearts/souls. Safety, that ultimately leads to trust. Trust, that ultimately leads to belief. Belief, that ultimately leads to KNOWING.

Lighting the Abyss is for people of all skill level, from the absolute “beginning” diviner to the seasoned reader considering a refreshed perspective. LTA is for the student that has been stuck in a loop of taking classes that turn out to offer what they already knew. LTA is for the person that knows that they know things but has yet to reach a level of comfortability in believing themselves. LTA is for the reader Lighting the Abyss is for anyone that has felt the desire for the reader that feels a solid connection to their cards, but is ready for more. LTA is for people wishing for more community, a place where they can learn and grow and teach and offer and ask questions and give perspectives and dream and wonder and experiment - all without judgement. Without having to worry if they are "doing it right". Without hierarchy, in a space created first and foremost for safety, nourishment and growth. Lighting the Abyss will be for people that are either committed to or interested in healing and hope. For people that are committed to or interested in prioritizing community - ALL COMMUNITY. This is a program that is trauma informed and supportive. You will be in a container that is rooted in abolition. This is an inclusive space that is relentlessly intersectional and hopelessly devoted to finding a way.

LTA is NOT for you if you are primarily interested in learning "by the book" tarot reading. Lighting the Abyss is NOT for you if you do not want to invest time into learning how to build and nurture community while reading tarot. LTA is NOT for you if you are seeking a teacher or mentor who is going to "do the work for you". Lighting the Abyss is NOT for you if you do not espouse the practices of inclusivity/intersectional existence/abolition or are not at least willing to learn more about why those things are vital to spiritual work.

If you’ve ever sat with me in any capacity, you have an idea of what this will be like: safe, loving, nurturing, honest, detailed, informative and upholding a standard that I believe is possible and necessary. If we are new to each other - this could be a wild, frighteningly empowered experience. It will connect you to YOU and TO EVERYTHING. Participants will receive 2 live lessons weekly - Mondays and Wednesdays at 6pm EST. In addition to weekly lessons, there will be both discussion and practical application labs over the 4 month period of time together. Each lesson, discussion and lab will be recorded and uploaded to Podia for folks attending from another coast or other parts of the world. Participants will also be included in a private Telegram group, set up for on hand support from one another and myself. Everyone that signs up for Lighting the Abyss will have forever access to this Telegram group and the Podia lesson/lab content.
